Extending conditional activities beyond the course level to restrict access to content on a second course based on completion of a pre-requisite activity or grade in an earlier course would enable new possibilities for course management, scaffolding and differentiated learning.

A specific use-case I'm sure many institutions are familiar with is getting students to provide feedback on completion of courses or modules. If access to the next module was restricted until the student submitted a feedback form there would be a huge incentive to provide feedback. There are manual ways of doing this but automating the process using activity tracking would be my preference.
