It would be good to "filter" plugins overview page, to show only plugins "disabled" or "contributions" or with "update available" to make life easier for administrators.
Perhaps with a link on these sentences, or by adding a dropdown menu...
This would also answer part of MDL-32685 problematics (see informations about updates).
Another improvment could also be to sort on column title : "by pluginname", "source", "availability", "action", "notes"...
