Answer review in essay question type shows HTML tags from TinyMCE editor in lesson module

      1/ Login to Moodle.
      2/ Enter a test course.
      3/ Create a lesson activity module with the following custom settings:

      • Display default feedback: Yes
        4/ Enter the lesson you created and add a question page.
        5/ Select the "Essay" page type and proceed to the next step.
        6/ Create the page with any data, and leave the default "Jump" option.
        7/ Preview the lesson, and enter an answer in to the TinyMCE HTML editor.
        8/ Review your answer:
      • Success: HTML tags will not show unless manually entered, however new lines will show as <br />
      • Failure: HTML tags will show in the review area, entered by the editor.

      When a user writes an answer in the answer box for the essay question types in the lesson module, the HTML characters are displayed from the TinyMCE HTML editor because they are converted to special characters on save.
