Tim suggests: "I think we really ought to make a $mfrom->render() method that just does $mfrom->display() wrapped in ob_start etc, and then returns the HTML. Does anyone want to code that and submit a patch? With the increasing move to renderers, that is going to save everyone a lot of time."
