We have a requirement for our academics to mark assignments, and provide feedback, within three weeks of the due date.

We have found that the email confirmation in the assignment module, clutters up inboxes and adds no real value to our process.

Our academics tend to bulk download assignments as soon as the due date is reached. Where late submission is allowed, they have to check for new late submissions manually.

The request I have received is to add an option to receive emails for late submissions only.

So, in the editing assignment form, the options would be:

Email alerts to teachers: All submissions, Late submissions, None
