In my classes students turn in work at all times, so I can't wait until a deadline to grade the work, I need to see what needs to be graded at any given moment. This is called a workload in the "Educator" LMS that I am using now and there is a good module for it in Moodle 1.9 called Grademe. It needs to also list the essay questions from the quizzes that need to be graded. The developer for grademe seems to be working on it, but this seems like an essential component that should be part of the core of moodle.
