Database module activity gets "Error reading from database" error when trying to export to portfolio

      To reproduce this bug:

      1) create a database activity
      2) add an entry
      3) click on the 'Export to portfolio' arrow that appears next to each entry (a green arrow in my system)
      4) then in the next screen, 'Select destination' and choose File download or Google Docs (the choices you see will depend on what Portfolios you have enabled)
      5) click on the [Next] button, and you will get the "Error writing to database" error (see attached image)

      The same error appears when trying to export all the entries:
      1) create a database activity
      2) add an entry
      3) select the Portfolio type in the pull down menu that appears at the bottom of the View List.
      4) click on the [Export to portfolio] button, and you will get the "Error writing to database" error

      Note: exporting to Portfolio within Forum activities in the same Moodle system work fine.

      With the Database module activity it should be possible to export single entries or the entire database contents to a portfolo (e.g. Google docs or a file download). However, when trying to do this I get "Error reading from database" error message: see attached image. This export to Portfolio feature works as expected in the Forum activity module.

      UPDATE: To confirm this error I turned on Debug Messages to Developer, and have attached (as a PDF) the resulting error messages - 9 pages worth.

      The two Databases activities in which I checked this bug are based on the same preset, so I checked with a completely different database activity and ... No error, export to portfioo worked as expected. So it seems that the bug / error reported here is perhaps specific to certain field types or ...? So I have attached the preset of the database that leads to the error.
