When http://demo.moodle.net/ was upgraded from 1.9.10 to 2.0 any courses which had a course theme forced, were changed to use the standard theme (even if the previous course theme existed in 2.0). According to the course settings the theme was set to 'Do not force' but the course didn't use the site until after the course settings were saved.
