Every day at around 12:30 (perth time gmt+8) moodle.org is subjected to a 1-2 hour long storm of requests for RSS feeds from all over the world. Sometimes this actually takes down the server. While figuring out the source of all these requests would be good there may also be some code improvements that can be made to help the server stay up.
