Currently calculated questions will grade a student's response as correct if it is numerically correct regardless of whether the student specifies units in their response. When creating the question, the teacher can identify units but only for the purpose of accepting multiple numeric answers.

For example:

Question is programmed to be: 5cm x 10cm = 50cm or .5meters

Moodle will award points for a correct answer of "50" or "50cm" or ".5" or ".5m,"

Would like to be able to grade numeric answer and units separately or at least require students to indicate units.
