It seems to me that the feature most lacking in moodle is the ability to export or save ALL types of resources, both individually and collectively, and then re-import them one-by-one or as a group into the same course, a different version of the course, another course, or any other Moodle website.

Teachers spend a lot of time developing resources within the Moodle site, and then cannot easily reuse them. The idea of duplicating a resource within a course is a good start, but it seems to me that the bigger idea here is that development should focus more on the idea of re-use of all types of resources, wherever they are needed. This especially affects teachers that are teaching several similar courses that have duplicate resources, created in one class, and that need to be available in several courses.
