It would be nice to be able to "lock" (make read only) discussion along a single thread in a discussion forum thereby preventing students from continuing down a line of discussion which the teacher no longer wishes to continue. I guess the place for this option in the moodle interface would be somewhere across the top along with the other forum/discussion options.
