Can width of column for Essay questions be varied?

      What controls the width of the columns in which the responses are displayed?

      I've just created a test which includes an Essay. When the responses are displayed the column width on screen given to the Essay is small.with the result that I have a long entry per student. I cannot help but notice that the width of the column given to responses to Essay questions is smaller than the wdith given to Short-answer questions.

      Could the width of the column given to Essay question responses be increased? I would not like to say what might be oprimal.
