Not sure if this a bug, feature or improvement....

Set role alias in course settings.
Back up and restore course.
In new course role alias(es) are missing in course settings and assign roles pages.

This is bad news as it adds additional steps to make the new course ready for use.
One assumes that if the role aliases were relevant in the original course that they will normally be relevant for the newly created course.
