All kinds of email opportunities exist for the database block. This particular request comes from discovering that in the Modules and Plugins database a user had left a comment that I never saw. So I thought to myself, and am now thinking here, that having the ability to set the database to mail a comment made on a database entry to the person who added the record (and/or the teacher) might be helpful.
