When a field of type "File" (to upload a file) has not been used (no file has been uploaded), it displays with the "unknown.gif" icon in single and list view. This is confusing since users may think a file can be downloaded somehow but will fail to do so.

If there is no file to download, the field should simply be completely empty, like other empty fields, but not display the question mark icon.
