give to users the possibility to set to empty/null a "date" field into database module

      I use db module to track the lend of phisical books between students and library.
      If a student takes a book, librarian guy enters the date of the lend in a date field of the books database module.
      If the book return to the library... I can't take the date off !!!!! 8-o
      Workaround. I killed the field and I substitute it with a standard text field.
