Whoever chose the name "Site context" should have realized that the term "site" already had a well-established meaning, and that overloading it would just create confusion. You can't say "site context" to anyone without adding a lengthy verbal footnote. The name should be changed to "Front page context.." This will also bring the documentation into line with the user interface (e.g., Site administration -> Front page -> Front page roles).
