Using the Japanese XP sysem, If a student enters shift + enter, a <BR> is encoded in the text file for the question. When the teacher attempts to view the responses, these <BR> characters cause the display to go awry and prevent the instructor from viewing the responses.

We are using v. 1.7 but this problem most likely exists in 1.8 as well.
