Here are steps to reproduce:
1. First create a forum and check the "Allow posts to be rated" to "use ratings." (see screenshot)
2. Then go into gradebook, you will see that the forum is shown as one of the graded items.
3. Later if the teacher change their mind, and go into the forum and change the "use ratings" to no. The forum would still show up in the gradebook view.
I verified that this problem exist in all moodle versions starting from 1.5 to 1.8. Not yet tested with the new gradebook 1.9 yet.
