I created template courses with the idea that I could edit similar ones based on them.

When it came to using these templates I found that it was more trouble to use them than to work from scratch. This was because when I wanted to add something to a topic I had to add it at the bottom and then move the newly inserted resource higher up.

The ability to insert at a chosen location would be really useful.

I had a think about this to see if I could also come up with a suggestion for how to do it. It struck me that if we could put a checkmark in with the resources, alongside the "hide", "edit" etc that checkmark could be used to manipulate resources.

The checkmark could be used to "edit selected resource" or "hide selected resource(s)" thereby allowing for mass operations (that might be a separate suggestion ). But in the context of my improvement request, what I really would like to use such a checkbox for is that it could allow us to add a resource or activity before/after the selected resource.
