We use checklist plugin for a couple of years on our Moodle site, and find it very useful and helpful.

I have few suggestions for improvements, maybe for next version:

1. View progress table - is it possible to freeze the first row with item names? when you have a many students in course and scroll down, you don't see the item names anymore.
2. View progress table - maybe it would be nice to change a heading color from black to something else. I made an example with different colors here
3. edit checklist - the arrows for indent are not in the right direction if you switch to RTL language (Hebrew, Arabic..). They suppose to be in the opposite direction
