The certificate that students are emailed is always in English, regardless of the student's language preference setting.

We've translated the certificate elements using the Multi-Language v2 plugin (eg. {mlang xx} ). The student is correctly given the certificate in the preferred language when they download it directly in Moodle, however, when the certificate is auto-generated and emailed to the student it's always in English and ignores the student's language preference.
