As documented in moodle community forum (https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=385516) I entered a redirect loop after just updating moodle (weekly) twice. Could escape after temporarily disabling a line in your plugin (see there).

I do not know if this plugin is the creator of the problem – but modifying it is a solution. Just wanted to report.
