The progress bar by Michael de Raadt has a nice student overview feature. 

On many places in Moodle, like the gradebook, the columns can be collapsed using a + (plus) or - (minus) sign.

Some teacher requested to have this in the student-overview. There's now a big column which displays the 'last access' date of a student. This column minimizes the view on the progress bar.
