I propose that we show future submissions on a new tab called 'Upcoming assessments' and rename the 'Overview' tab to 'Feedback Overview', to make this clear.

This would allow students to more easily see what's due and when, review the criteria/marking guides/exemplars for these assessments, consider how past feedback can help them complete their upcoming assessments and then click through to submit their work.

It would also allow personal tutors an overview of assignments awaiting submission, which could help them to guide students to reflect on their past feedback in preparation for these.

This does take us away from the primary purpose of using this report to view feedback, rather than as an assessment submission tool. But some research I've conducted shows many students need help learning how to self-regulate their learning and this tool can help show students how to reflect on previous feedback and bring their learning forward into future assessments, which was one of the primary purposes, and is supported by the self-reflective notes feature.
