https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/CONTRIB-6212 includes a description of how the Atto editor loads inline in earlier versions of Moodlerooms/Advanced Forum, where the user could switch between the text editor and Atto without loss of anything they had already typed.

Now that the 'use advanced editor ...' link also loads additional options, it causes a complete page refresh and loses anything that the user has already typed. This seems like a backwards step in functionality compared with previous versions.

Would it be possible either to reinstate inline loading for the advanced editor, or to retain any existing editor content when the page is reloaded? This would give a much better user experience.
