MOODLE_33_STABLE
When viewing Large/Long Videos in Google Chrome the video plays up to a point and then stops buffering. After the video reaches the last buffered section it waits for a while and then Starts buffering again.
This happens around 5 times in a 20min/100mb video.
In Chrome's Debug it gives the following console output when the video begins buffering after hitting the issue:
'GET {video URL address} net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET'
I have tested multiple videos, video formats (m4v, mp4, swf) and players (VideoJS, HTML5, Flash Animation).
In IE, on Moodle3.1 the video would buffer between 60% and 90% and would then stop. Once the video plays up to the end of the buffer it crashes and gives the following error: "Media playback was aborted due to a corruption problem or because the media used features your browser did not support'. I have tested in Moodle 3.3 and it seems to be buffering the full video now.
I have tested in Firefox, which plays and buffers the video fine.
I have tested the video by playing it directly from the server in the chrome browser with the website address and it plays without any issues, which leads me to think it is a moodle bug.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated
Thank you
Jamie
