The My students tab should have tool tips on the table headings - adding this ticket in case we get further funding in future to finish off the enhancements. Suggest the following text for each column:

Name: The name of the student who is your personal tutee, or whom you teach or support.

Relationship: 'Personal tutee', or the short name of the courses you teach or administer where that student is enrolled.
