I don't know if I should report this here. Feel free to redirect me. But nobody answered in the Moodle community forums and I think this is a bug.

We have master copies of courses (reference courses) saved in a reference category with timings set for everything.

Before the start of each semester we backup them (if there have been changes) and restore them for the new semester with a new starting date. The format of the course is weekly. Every item's timing gets updated correctly relative to the new start date (first day of the semester), except, apparently, for the Questionnaire.

The starting and closing date of the Questionnaire keep on being the same (do not get updated with the new starting date) as they were in the reference course. The result is that they are closed to the students as if the time for answering had passed.
