We are experiencing an issue in 2.9.6. The issue only exists with naturally-weighted grade books reporting to the My Grades block. If the grade book is set up to exclude hidden grades, Moodle computes an accurate current student score in the User Report, but the My Grades block reports a score that includes hidden grades.
