The formulas question type should support some local number formatting. If you use the number 100.00 in French, one should write 100,00.

Because the numerical question type supports the use of decsep and thousandsep, users from some non English communities get confused in a quiz when to use the English or local number format

In some languages every comma is replaced by a dot, and some dots are replaced by a comma. There are languages without spaces and some people write from left to right (or down to up). Not that the formulas question type should support all numerical systems, but support for decimal and thousand separators would already be great.
