The Progress Bar relies on logs for actions that monitor viewing of resources (pages, files, etc.).

In all versions, logs can be limited in their lifespan. In more recent versions, logging can be disabled altogether. When this is the case, the Progress Bar will provide bad results.

It is possible to limit the functioning of the block if logging is disabled or limited, however the configuration of logging and the block are independant, so a big warning is preferable.
