The dataform duration field allows the user to enter duration in one of several units: seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks. In some use cases we would like to allow the user only certain units. For instance in a dataform application of learning log where students need to report time spent on each of the course units and sub-units, it would be useful to show only minutes and hours as other units are less suitable for such a report.
