I like to use the grid format for my courses and I would like to see each grid topic image greyed out as that topic is completed. The topic may consist of resources or activities or a combination of both.I believe the "Enable conditional access" and "Enable completion tracking" only works with activities so this does not work for me.
Once all items in this topic have been read, viewed if media or activity completed (or all)the image is automatically greyed out or a message appears over the image which says 'completed' not unlike before beginning a topic it says 'New Activity'. When the student returns to the front page of the course they can see automatically which topic they are up to within the course.
