Helpdesk block version 2.3 (Build 2013052300) does not have the English language strings available in AMOS.
That usually means there is something wrong with the code.

In the past, David Mudrak has been extremely efficient at finding the cause and fixing the problem, or suggesting a fix to the developers.

If the language strings are not available in AMOS, this add-on can not be translated to any language beside English, which is a shame, as it seems to be a very useful block.

I only tested it in a Moodle 2.5 branch local server and it seems to work well (It is rated as compatible with 2.3). I will test in in 2.3 in the weekend.
