Tested the Piers Harding bulk course uploader on my Moodle 2.3 test site. When I ran the uploader the new courses were created with two copies of all resources/activities from the selected existing template (rather than a single copy of each resource). If I run a further update to courses the number of copies of each activity or resource increases from 2 to 4 copies.

Also as a minor improvement - if the error message about using csv fields with quotes could be tweaked to suggest that users substitute any commas within the field text with &#44 - it seems to be a reasonable workaround.
