I installed the marking block on a vanilla install of Moodle 2.2.1 (build 20120109), gave myself a Teacher role, and the marking block still lists the number of total to mark as 0 (if only this were true! ). Even after installing the latest version of the plugin (2.1.5b), the problem persists.

I'm attaching a screenshot of what the block looks like on the course frontpage; I've switched explicitly to the Teacher role here and turned editing off, but the result is the same in my usual role (site admin) with editing on too.

Let me know anything you might need from me to resolve this (I've set the debug level to max, but I can't see any output from the block?).
