Example 1: A Teacher is unable to remove Discussion Forum ratings from her AJAX Marking block. Some assignments already have ratings applied, but are still showing up in the AJAX Marking block. Any new ratings that the teacher applies do not stick. When the teacher refreshes the Marking block, all of the items return.

Example 2: Ajax marking block shows 20 assignments/forum posts that need to be graded by a teacher, but in fact when you click on some of them you see that they have already been graded. Even when you try to refresh, the ungraded assignments are there. So the block does not connect/update the information about the graded activities.

This is happening on multiple sites

We have tried deleting and re-adding the block, it changed nothing.

We have turned on debugging mode and could not see any coding errors.
