Noticed this when staff started backing up and restoring courses for new academic year - the old version of a course remains visible on the Most Active list even if it is hidden from users (until eventually drops from the list if not used). This is confusing if it's being used as a shortcut by the tutor editing the course. Image attached shows an old course (hidden) on the list at same time as the new version of the same course. Having the option of removing courses from this list allows old content to be cleared - and also allows staff to hide a course under development to work on it without it appearning on the list before it's ready for release.
