When all topics are displayed, could the links be simplified so they only have a "#section-X" href attribute. The reason is that the course page URL often has a number of GET attributes that aren't included in the absolute URL you are using, so clicking the link causes the page to reload because the full URL differs, even though the page is really the same.

I also would like to suggest that the topic numbers not appear, or at lest appear optionally.

Finally, I think a more appropriate block title would be "Table of Contents", which I think even young students can relate to. Perhaps the block title could be configurable.
