We would like to add an activity Module for inclusion in the downloadable modules section of Moodle.org

nLearning Ltd has developed an integration module for Turnitin in association with iParadigms, working closely with a group of Turnitin customers.

The Module is fully supported by iParadigms (the producers of Turnitin) and configurable from their website. This means Moodle users will get support for it through the Turnitin help desk. It contains all the features that are currently supported through the Turnitin API. The Module will be continued to be developed and updated by nLearning with support from iParadigms and will include all new features of Turnitin as they are made available through the API such as Peer Mark and Write Cycle 2.

The integration is referred to in the Turnitin integrations options as Moodle Direct and will run alongside the current assignment type module currently referred to as Moodle Basic. Unlike Moodle Basic this integration runs entirely from within the activity module and follows Moodle workflow... we would also like it to be open source, hence this request, so that the Moodle community can get access to the source code and make contributions.

The module currently compatible with Moodle 1.8 / 1.9, but we will develop support Moodle 2.0 as soon as it is launched.
