I'd like to contribute the BIM activity module

BIM - BAM into Moodle - where BAM is Blog Aggregation Management

BIM is an activity that allows teachers to manage, track and mark student contributions. The student contributions are made on an individual student blog that the student has created on their choice of external blog service (e.g. Wordpress.com). The contributions can be responses to a set of questions configured into BIM.

BIM maintains a local mirror of student posts and tracks marking etc in the data base.

The zip file includes a PDF document that is an initial review of BIM by technical folk at Netspot. This was funded by CQUniversity (http://www.cqu.edu.au) as part of a project where BIM is being used in course sites at CQUni. BIM builds on and translates BAM into Moodle. BAM has been used since 2006.

BIM includes and uses Simplepie. The version of simplepie included in BIM is modified to use the Moodle proxy config variable.
