DimDim: Meeting Room Name Inconsistent between "Start" and "Join" Meeting for Teacher/Students

      When starting up a DimDim Webmeeting, the admin clicks on "Click here to Start Meeting" -
      and is then taken to a DimDim page with a button for "Start Meeting" or for "Join Meeting"

      When clicking "Start Meeting" a new window appears:

      displays a randomly generated "room name" at the top, such as "qmo8cij"

      When the student users in Moodle click on "Click here to Join Meeting" - they are then taken to a DimDim page that has two fields: Enter Room Name and Enter Your Name. The "Enter Room Name" field contains a different room name than the Admin user, which means that if students leave in the room name, they cannot connect.

      Thus, the room name that is being generated for the students does not match the room name that is being generated for the instructor/admin. So the only way to get the students and instructor together in DimDim is to either:

      a) instructor replaces the randomly generated room name with one of his or her own, and tells students ahead of time to replace their default room name with this name (this may be the preferable option, in that an instructor can give an easy to remember room and and use it consistently).

      b) instructor uses the randomly generated room name, and emails, IMs or otherwise gives that room name to students, who must put that same name into the Room Name field when joining the meeting.

      So, it appears that either

      a) something needs to be done so that both instructor and student end up with the same room name (not sure if it's on the Moodle module or on the DimDim side...)

      or

      b) perhaps the room name should be done away with, left blank for BOTH users, so that all users would just need to be instructed ahead of time to replace the blank room name with one that all course users know to put in that box.
